COURSE FEEDBACK REVIEW – EXCELLENCE DEMONSTRATED!

As part of our quality processes we have recently audited our course feedback over the last few years. The headline finding was a 94% excellent / very good rating of all the quantitative feedback received for our courses, with a 2:1 bias to excellent. This superb feedback is something we are very proud of, and we aim to keep driving this percentage higher still. Digging deeper into the feedback we found numerous equally positive qualitative feedback comments too, such as:
  • “Excellent course! You are a great teacher” (EC7 course, February 2016)
  • “I liked the link between geotechnical and structural design” (Bespoke foundation engineering course, November 2015)
  • “Very good course – difficult topics made clear and interesting” (Bespoke geotechnical engineering course, October 2015)
  • “Great knowledge of subject matter and strong delivery” (Slope stability course, September 2015)
  • “Great day – look forward to the next course” (Bespoke mentoring course on geotechnics to engineering geologists, June 2015)
  • “Great course given the detailed subject matter” (EC7 course on foundations, March 2015)
Many thanks to all the people we have worked with and helped over the years, for all your feedback. Without it we would not be able to strive to continuously improve our performance and achieve our goal of helping you make the most of yourselves.

CDM 2015 COURSE FOR MAJOR CONSULTANCY

Following up on our CDM 2015 briefing sessions earlier in 2015, we recently ran a morning training session for over 40 staff for a major international consultancy in London. Delegates attended the course either in person or joined the course from regional offices via an internet delivery method. The aim of the course was to provide clear information and guidance on the changes to the Regulations and  the actions that will be required from Clients, Designers and Contractors to meet them. Due to the bespoke version of the course, specific reference was made to geotechnical and geo-environmental works to suit the needs of the Client. It was very well received and as with all our courses it was backed up by a clear set of notes for future reference. Following the success of this course and its remote delivery, we would be very pleased to work with you or your company to deliver a similar course or any other bespoke training you need to address your business needs. If interested please contact our Andy Goodwin to discuss how we may be able to bespoke a cost-effective course to meet your needs.

BESPOKE FOUNDATION ENGINEERING COURSE FOR THE COAL AUTHORITY

We are currently running a bespoke course on foundation engineering for The Coal Authority over two days. We worked with them to design a course that met their specific needs, was tailored for a small group, and which provided excellent value. It includes too information on the new British Standards for retaining walls and foundations. The course has received excellent feedback and it is now being developed further into a new course to be delivered from 2016 onwards. If you have even a small group of people needing training then contact us to discuss how we may be able to bespoke a course to suit your needs whilst making it cost-effective too.

BESPOKE COURSE SUCCESS

We recently ran a bespoke version of our ever-popular ‘Mentoring on Geotechnics for Engineering Geologists’ course for a major consultancy in one of their regional offices. What was different about that course? By working with them we found a way to deliver it cost-effectively for us both even though they only had two staff needing training. Quality was not compromised, and as ever feedback from the course was excellent. If you have just two or three people needing training then contact us to discuss how we may be able to bespoke a course to suit your needs whilst making it cost-effective too.
